During her studies at the Moscow Conservatory, she was a soloist at the Novaya Opera Theater in Moscow. There she sang the first main roles of Liudmila in «Ruslan and Liudmila» (M. Glinca), Walter in «La Walli» (A. Catalani) and Lucrezia in «I due Foscari» (G. Verdi). She graduated with distinction in 2000. As a final exam she sang the role of Violetta Valery in «La Traviata» (G. Verdi) on the main stage of the State Bolshoy Theater in Moscow. This was followed by an engagement in the Bolshoy Theater with roles such as Violetta Valery in «La Travaiata» (G. Verdi), the title roles in «Iolanta» (P.I. Tchaikovski) and the Snow Maiden (N. Rimsky-Korsakov) as well as Liudmila in "Ruslan and Liudmila «under the musical direction of Alexander Vedernikov.
A year before graduation, in 1999, she made her debut in Italy at the Spoleto Festival in the role of Natasha Rostova (the opera «War and Peace» by S. Prokofjev) under the musical direction of Richard Hickox and with direction by Gian Carlo Menotti. After her success there, she was invited by German television to be presented to the German audience on the TV show «Stars von Morgen» by Monserrat Caballé in the year 2000. In the same year she sang the role of Queen of the Night in «The Magic Flute» at the Deutsche Oper Berlin under the musical direction of Sebastian Lang-Lessi.
In the following years (2000-2007) she interpreted the role of Queen of the Night more than 100 times at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Semperoper Dresden (musical direction by Rainer Mühlbach), the Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf — Duisburg (staged by Christof Loy), the Opera du Rhin Strasbourg (staged by Achim Freyer), in Florence under the musical direction of Myung-Whun Chung, at the Salzburger Landestheater (staged by Harry Kupfer) as well as at the Bonn and Karlsruhe theaters. Among other things, she sang the title role in G. Donizetti’s «Lucrezia Borgia» at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna under the musical direction of Daniele Callegari and directed by Marco Martinelli as a second cast after Mariella Devia. With Aleksandrs Antonenko as Don Ottavio, she sang Donna Anna in «Don Giovanni» at the Riga Theater.
She also took part in the Rossini Opera Festival (Pesaro, Italy) with the role of Clorinda in «„La Cenerentola“ with Juan-Diego Florez, Sonja Ganassi, Bruno Pratico, Roberto de Candia, Sonia Prina and Nicola Ulivieri under the musical direction of Carlo Rizzi. At the Savonlinna Opera Festival she sang the role of Gilda in «Rigoletto» by G. Verdi, with Dmitri Hvorostovski and Franz Grundheber as Rigoletto and Elina Garanca as Maddalena. Under the musical direction of Gennadi Rozhdestvensky, she sang the role of Oksana in Tscherevitschki (P.I. Tchaikovski) at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari.
At the Opera de Paris she sang the role of Xenia in Boris Godunov (M.P. Moussorgski) under the musical direction of James Conlon and directed by Francesca Zambello. At the Kungliga Operan Stockholm she sang the role of Adina in Donizetti’s «L‘elisir d‘amore» under the musical direction of Alberto Hold-Garrido. She also sang the role of Contessa di Follewille in «Il viaggio a Reims» by Rossini at the Toronto City Opera.
From 2004 to 2009 she was a member of the ensemble of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein. Her roles there were Donna Anna («Don Giovanni»), Fiordiligi («Cosi fan tutte»), Vitellia («La clemenza di Tito»), Konstanze («The Abduction from the Seraglio»), Violetta Valery («La traviata») , Gilda («Rigoletto»), The Queen of the Night («The Magic Flute»), Olympia («Les contes d’ Hoffman»), Fiorilla («Il turco in Italia») and Oscar («Un ballo in maschera»).
In 2009 she was the cover of Edita Gruberova in G. Donizetti’s «Lucrezia Borgia» at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich (production by Christof Loy). She sang this role in 2012 in Gothenburg in the same production under the musical direction of Giancarlo Andretta with great success.
In the next few years, she was hired as a guest soloist. In the Tonhalle Zurich she
sang the soprano part in Verdi’s «Messa da Requiem» under the musical direction
of Joachim Krause. At the Schwerin Festival and at the opera houses of Valencia,
Murcia, Alicante, Biarritz, Bucharest and Riga she sang the role of Abigaille in «Nabucco»
by Verdi. Under the musical direction of John Fiore, she sang Elisabetta in «Maria
Stuarda» with Marina Rebeka as the title role. At the Grand Theater du Geneve she
was Gerhilde in Wagner’s «Die Walküre» with Ingo Metzmacher as the
conductor and Dieter Dorn as the director. During this time, she was and is still employed
as a guest soloist at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf / Duisburg.
In the same period of time her educational work began. Since 02/01/2010 she has been working as a voice instructor at the «Lyric Opera Studio Weimar». In addition, since April 1st, 2019, she has been working as a lecturer for singing and chamber music at the Kalaidos Musikhochschule Schweiz in Düsseldorf and Wuppertal, as well as from April 2021 at the International Music Academy Wuppertal (Germany).
